Description:

Brand Click is looking to add a talented, freelance consultant to handle Graphic Design for various projects for our portfolio of clients. This individual will be an integral part of the team and have complete autonomy of his/her growth throughout the role with the potential of coming on full time after an extended period. You will work closely with our in-house team and clients to execute on goals and timelines. 

As a designer you know how to bring information and data to life with easy-to-comprehend video, graphics, layouts, and visual design. You utilize modern techniques that make complex concepts simple and engaging. In this modern marketing environment, your skills are vital to our success.

We are looking for a motivated multi-discipline designer to assist with the development of new projects and ongoing marketing efforts. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for upholding the brand aesthetic of all marketing and business development materials. These projects will consist of end-products for web, mobile, email, advertising, social and video.

 

Delivery & Execution:

  • Work to develop marketing initiatives including, but not limited to: eBooks, flyers, brochures, digital advertising for web/social, proposals, PowerPoint presentations, marketing collateral, infographics, video/animation (pre to post production), and other formats as needed.
  • Deliver clean, visually engaging layouts for web materials that maintain corporate branding guidelines (appropriate use of logos, color, composition, and perspective across multiple channels)
  • Work under guidance from clients and senior design leadership to provide quality designs and graphic content
  • Collaborate professionally and respectfully on design tasks with internal teams for marketing, biz dev, development, advertising, customer engagement etc. 

 

Strategy & Planning:

  • Support design best practices across the organization
  • Support design ideas through excellent influencing and communication skills
  • Find a meaningful balance between optimizing for speed, quality, and doing risky, but interesting work
  • Help foster cross-functional collaboration (e.g. with marketing comms, business group, product marketing, partners) to drive value

 

Requirements: 

  • Online portfolio or website displaying past/ongoing work (required for consideration)
  • Solid understanding of key design disciplines (graphic layout, video production, motion graphics a plus)
  • Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud Platform
  • Solid understanding of typography, photography, color, and composition as it applies to layout and design
  • Solid understanding of web and mobile responsive design best practices
  • Must be detail-oriented with a passion for modern and emerging design trends
  • Ability to provide quality design work in a timely and efficient manner – often managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work within a team, contributing to projects and providing/acting upon feedback as-needed (this will include instruction/constructive criticism from leadership, peers, and clients)
  • Comfortable presenting and interacting with internal clients and peers to establish design parameters for any given project
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents/content for translation into design-friendly formats
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • PST or CST is preferred. If EST, you need to be on call at late hours or get your work done days in advance to make deadlines.
  • Friendly: you will be engaging with clients so put a smile on and be able to understand what is needed and execute on it.  

 

You will be asked to complete a task that we come up with and provide a portfolio of your work examples. There will be multiple short interviews to see if you are a culture fit and up to par with what we need. Pay is by the hour and flexible/negotiable based on project. You will be handling a large book of business so the opportunity to make some serious money 🙂

This individual will be an integral part of the team and have complete autonomy of his/her growth throughout the role with the potential of coming on full time after an extended period. You will work closely with our in-house team and clients to execute on goals and timelines. 

 

Your experience: 

  • Email tools: Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Sendgrid Iterable, Braze or equivalent software
  • SMS: Klayvio, Attentive, Twilio or equivalent software. 
  • Writing content for blogs, social, marketing campaigns, engagement campaigns, and various other content tasks.
  • Other cross-channel lifecycle marketing tools
  • Knowledge of creating blogs, social, web content, across various industries
  • If you have preferred solutions, let us know as you have free reign on providing the most value to our business and customers. 
  • You have integrated engagement software and started campaigns from scratch. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Extremely affluent in English and is an amazing writer
  • Creative – we give you direction and you come up with the campaigns/content. No hand holding
  • Very knowledgeable of worldly trends, different industries, and able to learn other topics quickly
  • Adaptable: we are consistently mixing things up and doing a wide variety of work for our clients and need you to be able to keep up with the ever changing landscape of the digital marketing world. 
  • Inquisitive: strive to learn what you don’t know and you will be rewarded.
  • PST or CST is preferred. If EST, you need to be on call at late hours or get your work done days in advance to make deadlines.
  • Friendly: you will be engaging with clients so put a smile on and be able to understand what is needed and execute on it.  
  • Technological aptitude is extremely high and you are willing to learn additional tools/skills.
